I never understood the big deal about customizing the colors of your IDE and I particularly never understood the black and white craze … until recently I installed the Visual Studio 2012 Color Theme Editor form the Tools / Extensions and Updates … and realized that the Dark theme (which came with the extension) instantly helped me see … Continued
VS 2012: Add external editor in your file context menu & keyboard shortcuts
So recently I had to deal with some Cold Fusion code and since I had no tools (and no desire to install Eclipse, Abode etc. products just so I can get the syntax of CF looking colorful) I decided to get VS 2012 work with an external tool which had the CF syntax highlighting etc. … Continued

After some experimentation I have one which I do think is close to what is out there but at the same time slightly different and … Continued
XenForo Theme: Aurora
I have been looking for some time for a good forum solution and I got hooked by XenForo (http://www.xenforo.com). Actually hooked will be an understatement since after 1 week of experimentation I made the decision to create a theme for one of my website projects. The species known as “software developers”.
First perspective is the “evolution” of this living organism to sustain its vital living characteristics on absolute minimum nutrients and negative amount of social interaction. What is even more absurd is that the “devs” seem to strive in environments that are absolutely impenetrable by light and will develop a spontaneous inflammable reaction when exposed to direct sunlight. The intriguing paradox is that they are, however, able to withstand enormous doses of radiation exposure constantly present at their line of sight. Given the inadequacy consistently demonstrated by these species, it is not hard to notice that there is a genetic mutation, which seems to have activated a cognitive reflex insinuating that the sun is actually trying to put an end to their almost procreative relationship with their “computer” devices.
