Akrion Poetry

I thought I did it all for me
I thought without you I can be
I dreamed of this so many times
Wrote countless words and pointless rhymes

They promised you are killing me
My will and passion to be free
But all I see in them is slaves
To different master who behaves

You see, I thought I can resist
The pain, the urge with no assist
And as the time became my foe
I never learned to let you go
